Nestled in the Glen Rock Regional Park is a quite spectacular walk involving scaling great heights, walking
exposed grassy ridges and standing high on rocky peaks.
This all day walk starts and finishes at the
car park and involves walking between three great peaks to which you will experience incredible views
and challenging terrain.
Coming off the last peak, ‘Black Fellows Lookout’ is a bit intimidating and one must be careful coming
down the goat trail. This is a walk for fit confident walkers and will be undertaken only in dry weather.
Long pants are required as there is a lot of hiking in long grass.
Bring the usual smoko, lunch and water
as we’ll be trekking for about 7 hours.
Meet at Neil Street car park to leave at 7am.
PS: For other walkers looking for something not so strenuous, there are some more gentle walks, around
the carpark and even a nice dirt road to cycle along.
