Details The day will begin with a pleasant drive back to the land of the latest pilgrimage.

Then on to Moogerah Dam to begin a fairly interesting and uphill stroll.

From here we begin to enjoy the formed track which guides the walk to the summit lookout to reach a height of 632 metres.

Along the path we will be able to look back on the almost empty dam and the valley formed between Mt Edward and what is called "Little Mt. Edward" and enjoy the diversity of vegetation and surrounding views that increase as we ascend up the track.

The attraction of the continuous walk up to the summit look out is generously compensated by the down hill return back to the dam.

A little stopover at Aratula for a coffee/milkshake just before the trip home should freshen everyone up.

Please bring sufficient water, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. The weather is starting to warm up at this time of the year so be prepared. Click here for a map of Mt Edwards
