Details This walk is in the Main Range National Park and offers fantastic views of the peaks in the area providing weather permits. Cunningham’s Gap to the north and the Steamer Range and Mt Superbus to the south.

The walk commences at Pepper’s Spicers Peak Lodge. We will walk down and along a razorback ridge to the commencement of the rain forest on the side of Spicers Peak. We then need to traverse up through the rain forest to the summit. Views were limited on the summit but maybe others who have been in the area previously could lead us to a suitable viewing area. If not we will have a short lunch in the rain forest and spend more time on the ridge over and back enjoying the wonderful views.

We will meet at Neil St car park for a 7.00am departure.

It takes approximately 2 hours to reach Peppers and about 5 hours for the walk. The last 9 kms to Peppers is a narrow steep drive so care is needed.

Hope to see you there.
