Details The steadfast pursuit of an objective.
Other associated words are persistence, steadfastness, determination, resolution, tirelessness, endurance and doggedness.

This sounds like a great formula for a walk.

It will be about climbing up and down hills and exploring creeks and cliff faces above Perseverance Dam, depending on the weather, snakes and water in the creeks.

This walk is almost on our doorstep in the former state forest 665; now National Park.

We will depart from Neil Street car park at 8 am so be there to organise your car share by 7.45am.

Vehicle distance is 70 km return.

Walking distance 11 km, grade moderate to hard.

Bring standard equipment including 2 litres of water and first aid kit [with snake bandage].

Protection from lantana, mat rush and smilax vine is also recommended. Consider long sleeves and trousers.

An update
Following our pre-walk, the Perseverance Walk grading has been increased to M77.

We previously graded it as similar to Ian's recent Lockyer walk but it will be more difficult than that and will require good fitness and moderate experience.

It will be a long walk of 11 km with rockhopping and several steep climbs and descents.

It will also be scratchy so wear longs.

Bring extra water [3 litres] and extra smokos/snacks.

We will depart Neil Street promptly at 8 am and hope to be back by 5pm.
