Details We last visited here in 2003, the campground has changed owners, but I am sure the mountain is still as spectacular as ever.

We will camp at Neurum Creek Bush retreat, a private campground alongside Neurum Creek, just east of Kilcoy. See their website http://www.ncbr.com.au for more details and booking. The camp has showers, toilets and fireplaces, wood is for sale, or bring your own. Cost 9.50 per person per night. I have advised the owners that there will be about 10 of us. Please book using their website, or phone Tracy on 1300 733 901. If we all group up in the Yowie Forest area, campsites F6-F10, that would keep us together. The creek has several good swimming holes, or bring a canoe or lilo to explore further.

There are several walks on marked trails along the creek, and up onto the lower slopes of Mt Archer If the group is keen, and its not too hot, we could do a loop circuit and climb Mt Archer, about a 300 m climb. If not, the Twin Gorges walk looks interesting, and cool and shady in the rainforest. There is some rock-hopping and steep sections in the upper gorges to add a challenge.
Walk gradings about S33 for the marked trails, M66 for the Mt Archer circuit.

We will meet as usual at Neil St carpark, 7:00 am Saturday. The drive takes about 2 ½ hours for the 160 Km trip, via Highfields, Hampton, Esk and Kilcoy.
