Details Join us for the first of the Toowoomba Bushwalkers Saturday short walks to Redwood Park.

Redwood Park is an extensive forested area that lies between Prince Henry Drive and the Range Highway.

We will commence the walk at the east end of Bridge Street and head down the Bridle Trail (steep in some parts) then turn off into the Eagles Nest Trail which joins into the Grasstree Trail to our morning tea stop at a lovely picnic spot at the bottom of the range. We then take a winding gradual uphill trail through the Redwood forest (largely Privet trees) back to Bridge Street.

The walk is 8Km and will take us about 2.5-3 hours. Walk grading is about S44.

Meeting each month at 7.45am outside the Cobb & Co Museum (free parking) , 27 Lindsay Street, Toowoomba. We shall car pool and leave from there each month at 8am sharp.

Please bring a water bottle, sun hat, walking shoes and morning tea. For those that would like a picnic lunch in Queen’s Park afterwards, bring a packed lunch.
