We do require non members, as well as inexperienced members, to contact the walk leader first to get their approval to attend the clubwalk.

Details	This is a relatively easy half day walk just south of Toowoomba. It’s a circuit of approximately 9 km utilizing tracks & roads, descending the range via the top portion of the historic Gorman’s Gap Track and ascending via a portion of the National Trail. I’d grade the walk an S44 as you need to be reasonably sure footed to descend the Gorman’s Gap Track down past the Camels Hump. I’d expect to be back at the top monument by lunch time so participants may wish to picnic in the new park here before suburbia takes over completely. Alternatively light meals are available at Preston Peak winery nearby. We’ll meet at the K-mart upper car park for an 8 a.m. departure.
