Details
Glen Lomond Park is situated south of the Toowoomba Golf Course at Middle Ridge.
We meet at the Cobb & Co Museum car park at 7.45am and car pool from there.
We shall commence our walk through the Garnett Lehmann Park, cross over Alderley Street and walk through the Waterbird Habitat. From there we shall head east down Stenner Street past the golf course to Rowbotham Street, then onto Flagstone Creek Road and take a side street into the park.
Glen Lomond is a lovely park on the escarpment and forms the boundary of some homes along the way. There are some great views and a beautiful forest around us. There is some uphill climbing toward the end leading to Dorge Street. We shall come back via Mackenzie Street and stop for morning tea at the Waterbird Habitat.
We should return to the Cobb & Co museum by 11.00am. Please bring a water bottle, morning tea, hat and sturdy walking shoes.
